Hello, I’m Sarah!

I’m an artist and book designer with a passion for kidlit design and more than a decade of experience. From board books to YA novels I find joy in helping authors and illustrators bring stories to fruition, and lending my design-eye to help best present their vision to the world. 

​

I'm also a life-long admirer of the natural world and my happiest place is painting any type of critters—I get lost in the details!

 

When I’m not designing books or making art you can find me propagating houseplants, plotting my summer garden, supplying dangerous amounts of catnip to my two cats (Simon and Garfunkel), and just generally nerding out.

And I'm #actuallyautistic which is (at least for me) why I'm highly detail-oriented, but I may not pick up on your sarcasm or dry humor. ;-)
